After Art School - Neurodiversity & Disability Landscape Sessions I & II

Neurodiversity Art Workshop Part One-2.png
Part Two Monday 24th March.jpg

These groundbreaking, pilot sessions took place online at Goldsmiths' College, London, Art Department in March 2025 and were organised and hosted by autistic artist, advocate and educator, Professor Becky Beasley.

They are useful for all arts practitioners new to the disability arts scene, but are aimed here at final year Arts students who identify as disabled or neurodivergent to share the landscape  of UK-based disabled-led organisations and networks they can connect with on graduating to continue their arts careers with  opportunities, support, jobs, mentoring and more.

The Special Guest Speakers are all disabled and tell their own stories of their art world. There is no Art World, but many Worlds, each grown individually as your own, with like-minded others with shared lived-experiences and our allies. The recordings and resources below will introduce you to the Disability Art scene, its participants, leaders and multitude of creatives with whom one can connect and find a safe landing upon graduating or late diagnosis. Take care of yourself and never give up! We are all here.
